The backrest features a working clock that uses 1 AA battery (not included) A charming poem on seat back reads: "Once upon a Time I took a look and found my world was full of books Now I love to sit and read each chapter Rocking and Reading HAPPILY EVER AFTER". The rocking chair also features a removable seat cushion and attached book rack under the seat. Book rack dimensions are:11.25" L x 3.33" W x 9.5" H. There is a special poem and under stamp beneath the seat that you can personalize with the child's name, the name of the gift-giver and the special occasion when the chair was received.
