Bratt Decor
Bratt Decor has been designing and lovingly crafting baby furniture and kid's furniture since founders, Mary and Stephen Bauer were expecting their first baby in 1995 and Stephen designed a gorgeous wrought iron baby crib. Since then, their company, as well as their family has grown.Cloud B
It started on a sleepless night. Two good friends, Linda and Heather, were sharing "sleepless-night stories" after another night awake with their young daughters, Madeleine and Yasmeen. Both babies were waking up many times during the night, kicking off their covers and getting cold. If the covers would just stay in place.
Having backgrounds in fashion design and merchandising, Linda and Heather looked for a solution. They found that baby sleeping bags have been used for years in Europe, and pediatricians in Holland have made it a standard recommendation for all babies. They found that with the baby sleeping bag, covers stay in place, keeping babies warm while also reducing risk factors associated with SIDS.
Working in conjunction with local pediatricians and sleep specialists, Cloud b was born. Cloud b began work with an advisory board of specialists to develop the LullaBag, and innovative products have been introduced ever since.
As the Baby Sleep Specialists, The Cloud b mission is simple—to thoughtfully design and develop useful products that help babies sleep better, and simplify parents’ lives.
Levels of Discovery
After spending most of his adult life in the development of emotion-based products for Hallmark, The Franklin Mint and Enesco, he decided that he wanted to bring fun and innovative children's products to the marketplace that are truly something special. Thinking back over the years with his own three children, he realized that there is nothing so wonderful as to see the look of sheer delight on a child's face when they've discovered something new and unexpected! Anyone can produce a product that is exactly what it appears to be. He takes that a step further and creates products that allow children to discover the "unexpected"! for example his award-winning Schoolhouse Rocker has a fun "school" theme with primary colors, apple finials and movable abacus beads to help little ones learn counting and colors. Take another look and you'll find a flip-up desk (great for reading and writing) and an armrest pencil box with a sliding lid. Pull the chalk on the seat and the music box plays the "ABC Song!". Look again, and you'll find an understamp beneath the seat that can be "personalized" with the child's name, the name of the gift-giver and the special occasion when the chair was received. We love his products and think you will too!
Moonlight Slumber
Moonlight Slumber® was born out of one Mom’s quest for safe and healthy sleep products. Says, Terri Paul, president of Moonlight Slumber:
When I was pregnant with my first child and began looking for mattresses for my crib, I was surprised at how lax crib safety regulations were. From my past encounters, I was very familiar with the regulations for mattresses in healthcare and hospitality: hospitals, nursing homes, pediatric nurseries, hotels and dormitories, etc. That is why I was shocked that none of these high standards of the medical industry applied to infant sleep products! After all, what is more precious and helpless than a baby? So, I had a mattress custom-made by a healthcare manufacturer.
Then as my friends became pregnant, I offered this service to them. Everyone was shocked when I explained the differences between traditional crib mattresses and my own. That is when I knew that I had to offer these safe, healthy mattresses to parents everywhere—and with that the Starlight Support mattress line was born. It may have taken me ten years and four children later to do it, but the quality of our products speak for themselves.
The Serenity Star prenatal to preschool transitional pillow has similar humble beginnings. Once again, Terri Paul:
Let’s face it, most mothers-to-be become uncomfortable at some point in their pregnancy. I know I did. Our bodies are going through many changes and are working at maximum capacity, yet somehow sleep eludes the pregnant mom. I was worried about proper positioning for my unborn baby, was trying to get my ever-changing shape comfortable, and was plagued by problems like swollen legs and lower back pain. Finally, I thought of my crib manufacturer again. Together we created what would become the first prototype for the Serenity Star transitional body pillow—a prenatal to preschool modular pillow in three parts.
Again, my pregnant friends and business associates proved the perfect testing ground as I handed out prototypes. Every last person who tried this product was amazed. Once a mom-to-be sleep tests it for a few nights, she won’t want to give it up. I’ve even taken it to healthcare professionals and have had positive feedback about how it would enable the side-sleeping position recommended for pregnant women.
We saw a need for a safer, healthier line of sleep products and we strive to live up to the task everyday. Once again, Terri Paul:
With all honesty, my goal with Moonlight Slumber is to offer the best, the safest, the healthiest products available—the safety of our children depends on it. This isn’t just a marketing phrase, it is my true belief. This is a personal and professional mission.
Take Terri’s word for it, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason; send it back no questions asked.

Q: Are Moonlight Slumber products tested for safety?
A: Yes we adhere to the test the U.S. Government has required and only work with testing facilities recognized as such.
Q: Are all Moonlight Slumber mattresses PVC free?
A: Yes. All Moonlight Slumber mattresses are free of PVC, PBDE, vinyl, phthalates, phosphorous, arsenic, antimony and many other harsh and dangerous chemicals commonly used in crib mattresses. We offer the best blend of safe, natural products using advanced manufacturing technology.
Q: Do Moonlight Slumber mattresses off-gas?
A: No.
Q: What is the difference between the Starlight Support and the Starlight Support Supreme mattress?
A: Both mattresses are constructed exactly the same (dual firmness, internal fire barrier, premium fabric, etc.) with one exception: the Supreme has a layer of visco elastic memory foam on the toddler side. So, when you flip the Starlight Support, you flip from extra firm to firm. When you flip the Supreme, you flip from extra firm to a layer of visco elastic memory foam over the firm.
Q: What are the differences between the all-foam and innerspring mattresses?
A: The all foam models have a core made entirely of foam. The innerspring models have an innerspring coil core. Each spring is then wrapped on all sides, top, and bottom with foam, creating foam encapsulated innerspring. A top and bottom layer of foam are added to create dual firmness comfort.
Q: When should the mattress be flipped from the infant side (extra firm) to the toddler side (firm)?
A: While all children progress differently, we recommend that you flip your mattress when your child is approximately nine months old. This is the age that they are typically moving freely about the crib, becoming mobile and beginning to pull up into a standing position. However, should you notice your child becoming restless during the night or naptime, it may be a sign that they are ready for the less firm toddler side.
Q: What is the fire barrier in Moonlight Slumber products?
A: Moonlight Slumber uses an all-natural, patent-pending, internal fire barrier. It is made of inherently fireproof materials with no topically applied chemicals, retardants or other additives. Further, it has been used in the healthcare industry for many years—exceeding all current Federal and State regulations.
Q: What is the difference between a fire retardant and fire resistant materials?
A: Fire retardant materials retard fire—they slow its spread. Fire resistant materials do not burn. Moonlight Slumber products are 16 CFR Part 1633 compliant, meaning they are fire resistant. In independent testing, they have been proven to withstand open flame.
Q: Are Nature’s Star mattresses organic?
A: No. The Nature’s Star mattress has substituted foam with all-natural cotton. The cotton is not bleached, dyed, or chemically altered or treated.
Q: What is the difference between organic cotton and natural cotton?
A: For a crop to be certified organic, it is required to be grown without use of toxins, fertilizers and synthetic pesticides. Natural cotton may be grown in a manner consistent with modern commercial farming techniques. However, both natural and organic cotton products are unaltered upon harvesting. Neither is treated with chemicals, bleach or dye in the manufacturing process.
Q: Do you need to use a mattress pad or waterproof cover with Moonlight Slumber mattresses?
A: No. All Moonlight Slumber mattresses, even the Nature’s Star are manufactured with a premium, waterproof fabric. This fabric is smooth to the touch, warms under your baby, resists cracking and crunching and can be cleaned with a damp sponge.
Q: Are Moonlight Slumber mattresses JPMA Certified?
A: No, JPMA does not have a certification program for mattresses or pillows. Moonlight Slumber is however a JPMA member.
Q: What makes Moonlight Slumber mattresses anti microbial?
A: Moonlight Slumber uses a proven application called Ultra Fresh. It has been extensively tested and used in the medical industry for years. For more information, please visit www.ultrafresh.com
Q: Do regular size crib sheets fit Moonlight Slumber mattresses?
A: Yes.
Q: What is the difference between the contour changing table pads and flat changing table pads?
A: The contour changing table pad has three raised sides and a security strap to attach to your dresser. The flat changing table pad is flat: 1” thick, with no strap.
Consumer Product Safety
CPSIA Compliance
On August 14, 2008, President Bush signed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) in to law. This law which affects everyone that manufactures, imports, or distributes toys, apparel and other children's products in the United States was created to protect children from unsafe products.
This legislation requires that all products for use by children of ages 12 and younger have additional information on a permanent label, which includes:
· Date of production
· Name of manufacturer
· Lot or batch number
· Production location
As reported by JPMA, The CPSC General Counsel has issued several opinions regarding the February 10, 2009 effective date related to product in inventory:
LEAD
The CPSC General Counsel said:
"…Products that contain lead above the limit set in the CPSIA cannot be sold from inventory or on store shelves after February 10, 2009."
PHTHALATES
The CPSC General Counsel said:
"...With regard to phthalates, Congress created a consumer product safety standards and the clear statement of unambiguous intent to apply that standard retroactively cannot be found... [the standard] applies only those products manufactured after the effective date of the new standard."
In summary, it is the opinion of the CPSC General Counsel that:
1. They will not reverse their interpretation that products with total lead in excess of 600 PPM have to be off store shelves on February 10, 2009; and That the ban on phthalates (0.1% level) does not affect existing inventory.
Moonlight Slumber is proud to say that all of its products, including those in inventory, meet or exceed this standard as tested by SGS. The SGS Group is the global leader and innovator in inspection, verification, testing and certification services. Visit SGS and and learn more about their testing labs.
Additional information about the details of this law and its implementation can be found on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission web-site
Mother's Intuition
Mother's Intuition, Inc. began in the spring of 1999, when it's founder became determined as a new mother to create stretch mark solutions that would really work, and ultimately help mother's everywhere with the battle against pre and post pregancy stretch marks. After hearing from her OBGYN that she'd either "get stretch marks or not," depending on her genetics, she really started to worry! Both her mother and grandmother had stretch marks. Of course genetics have some bearing regarding tendencies to get stretch marks, but keeping the skin ultra moist and elastic does dramatically lower the chance of getting stretch marks. This is both intuitive and technically feasible, as long as the inner and outer layers of the skin are kept ultra moist and elastic during the growth phase. Based on these principles, the founder was able to avoid stretch marks altogether! After years of research and collaboration with laboratories throughout this process, the ultimate formulations became Tummy Honey, Stretch Mark Solutions. Yes, the founder is an actual mother of two beautiful boys, and now a hard-working mom both professionally and personally. The key was finding the right formulations, which Mother's Intuition, Inc. has done! Results from third parties have also shown similar results, even though they were supposedly "genetically predisposed" to get stretch marks. The result of the research and product development resulted in three products, TUMMY HONEY BUTTER (focused on prevention), CREAM (focused on fading, with a unique plant extract clinically proven to fade stretch marks), and STICK (general prevention and fading in a convenient package). The bottom line is Tummy Honey Stretch Mark Solutions work!Ragazzi

Robeez
In 1994 Sandra Wilson, a young wife and mother, was downsized out of her airline job. Wishing to spend more time with her 18-month old son Robert, Sandra saw this as an opportunity to start her own home-based business. For inspiration, she looked to her son’s tiny feet.
Sandra set out to handcraft a pair of brightly colored, soft-soled leather shoes for young Robert. She was pleased to discover that the shoes seemed to improve his balance, because the soft soles allowed him to “feel” the floor while he toddled about. Sandra decided to name the shoes after her son. “Robeez” shoes were born.
Pediatricians and family doctors to orthopedic surgeons attest to the medical benefits of Robeez shoes for developing feet. They not only recommend them to their patients, but their own young children wear them too.
How soft soles help developing feet:
As your baby’s feet are developing, walking barefoot helps toes get a better grip and develops foot strength. And contrary to popular belief, a baby doesn’t actually need support from shoes. The foot’s muscles are well equipped to do the job. While being barefoot is best, sometimes it just isn’t practical. Your baby’s tender feet need protection from rough surfaces and cooler temperatures.
Robeez research has shown that soft-soled shoes are the best choice in footwear. They promote the healthy development of growing feet. Soft soles promote freedom of movement and allow the foot to flex, while still offering a protective, comfortable layer. Robeez suede soles are also skid-resistant, while the leather is flexible, soft and breathable. That’s comforting for you to know. And comforting for baby to wear.
Silly Souls / Babygags
