A soft green landscape painted around the room carries the extraordinary views of the backyard inside. Adapted from designer Wendy Bellissimo’s bedding and artwork vintage fire trucks and happy little Dalmatians adorn the room.
Hockey Dreams
A hockey fan's bedroom designed to inspire a pro work ethic and grow with him. The room was muraled with faux brick behind the bed and a golden cream color wash on the remaing walls with a word banner reading: "Success isn't something that just happens, Success is learned, it is practiced, and then it is shared." Faux leather box pleated valances are the finishing touch adding warmth and dimension to the space.
Cars Bedroom
An ode to the Disney Pixar's film Cars, this 4 year old boy’s room takes you on a trip to Radiator Springs. Sophisticated fabrics were combined to create a masculine feel that will grow with the little boy. I combined black leather, tan suede, coordinating plaids and a rich deep red woven to create the bedding and valances. Playing on the logo from Cars, I showcase the little boys name out of black leather and embroidery to create an appliqué reminiscent of automotive upholstery. I carried the black leather onto the bed in a wonderfully whimsical toss pillow featuring Mater the tow truck. The Mural encompasses all four walls and the ceiling making you feel as if you are in radiator springs. The soothing landscape and cloudy ceiling relax you and inspire you to dream.
