About Kelly J. Thyen Allied ASID Wiggles N Giggles Baby and Children's Interior Designer:

Though she was born with the love of design she studied and obtained her bachelors of Science degree of Interior Design and Construction Management from Minnesota State at Mankato. She began her career at a small design studio in Wayzata working on residential projects, however she found her most inspirational and fun design projects were when she was able to work on the child’s room. She believes there’s nothing more magical than seeing the sparkle in a child’s eyes and hearing their ever so pleased giggle when they first see their new room. The ability to be as fun, whimsical, and colorful as she can be is what creates design passion in her.

Kelly’s use of color and ability to showcase her client’s personality is the key to her design success. The combination of whimsy, color, window treatments and accessories that flow effortlessly, results spaces that are inspiring and very pleased clients.

As a member of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers Kelly has been the recipient of the prestigious Peoples choice award for best use of color and best wall treatment and The Designers choice award for best use of color for the 2004 ASID Showcase House. She has also been featured on Home and Garden Television’s “Room for Change”, The Kare 11 Today Show, Minneapolis St.Paul Magazine, and Window and Walls magazine.
